Ruth Estelle Norman-Martinez, age 42 of Zanesville, lost her battle with cancer, 11:32 PM, Thursday, April 25, 2019 at her homesurrounded by family and loved ones. She was born Saturday, July 17, 1976 in Columbus; she was the daughter of Elizabeth Anna (Norman) Martinez-Alvarez who was by her side every moment during this difficult time. She was a Catholic by faith. She enjoyed history and genealogy, she was a loving mother and had many friends and will be greatly missed. She is survived by two sons, John and Ezra; two daughters Sha’rie and Marissa; two grandchildren, Esme and Isabella; Sisters Viola and Anna and numerous additional brothers and sisters and a large extended family. Per Ruth’s request she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
