Donald "Don" G. Ousley

March 24, 1938 - February 16, 2021

Donald "Don" G. Ousley, 82 of Nashport, died 1:43 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville. He was born Thursday, March 24, 1938, in Dundas, Ohio, the son of Lawrence Ousley and Anastasia Cecelia (Essman) Ousley. He married Mary Anna (Hartsough) on Sunday, December 23, 1962. Don served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from United Technologies and loved his Ford Automobiles. It was Don’s passion to collect, repair and show his beloved Fords. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed camping and loved to mow his property. Don was an avid traveler and cruiser. He along with his wife and family enjoyed many cruises together. Don is survived by two daughters: Stacy & John Martin and Cassandra & Scott Smith both of Nashport; three grandchildren: Hayley Dobbins of Zanesville, Hunter Faulhaber of Columbus, and Lane Faulhaber of Zanesville; five step-grandchildren: Austin Barber & Allison Barber of Hilliard, Elaina Smith & Emily Smith of Lewis Center, and John Martin of Newark; one step-great grandchild: Briar Barber; brothers and sisters: Mike & Brenda Ousley, Carl & Kim Ousley, Rita Miller, Helen & Russ Benson, all of Wellston; sisters-n-law: Marsha & John Durish of Wintersville and Betty Ousley and Jeanne Ousley both of Wellston, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife: Mary Anna Ousley; one son-in-law: Mike McCune; several brothers and sisters and brothers and sisters-in-law. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, February 22, 2021, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville. Due to current health conditions facemasks are required and social distancing will be observed. Graveside Services will be held 12 Noon, Tuesday, February 23, 2021, in the Zanesville Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Andrew Wilson officiating. The United States Army, VFW Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29 will conduct full military honors.
